School Curriculum Tours are where we work closely with you to tailor your itinerary around a specific curriculum.
These tours are designed with a specific educational theme and destination to help to reinforce a subject being studied with real life experiences.
Our Youth Adventure Experts are happy to discuss with you your current curriculum and suggest an appropriate itinerary that will bring to life the material being studied. Quite simply, there is no better classroom than in the field and tours can be made very affordable to ensure every student has a chance to learn.
History based tours in Egypt, Greece, Italy or to the birthplace of mankind in Tanzania. Utilising our close contacts in each destination we can tailor a trip to suit your history class' curriculum.
Geography based tours to the mountains, sand and ice deserts or jungles of the world. The world's landscapes are varied and intruiging and certain countries provide more eco-systems to view easily and quickly than others. Talk to our team about your geography curriculum requirements.
Religious based tours such as Buddhism in Cambodia or Hinduism in India. We can tailor nearly a visit to nearly every significant religious site no matter how remote.
Society and Culture tours to learn about the Maasai in Tanzania, the Uros Indians in Peru the Yolngu people of the Northern Territory and much more. People are what make travel so exciting and our local teams will ensure you encounter genuine interactions with local people for the best possible learning experience.
In 2012 a group of 15 students and 2 teachers from Nepean High School in Ottawa travelled with World Expeditions down to Cuzco, Peru to hike the Inca Trail. From the moment we stepped off the plane and were greeted at the airport by our knowledgeable and friendly guides, we knew we were in good hands. The level of detail in the planning, right from our parents meeting with representation from World Expeditions, who addressed any of the concerns of the parents was fantastic. The transportation in and around the Sacred Valley along with the quality of food and accommodations provided along with efficiency of the porters while on the Trail, made this trip run smoothly and successfully. The safety and well being of our students were never in question, which put everyone at ease and gave us the opportunity to enjoy and learn about a new culture, their traditions and taste the food - even the guinea pig! As a result, this trip will last as one of the highlights of my teaching career and an experience that none will forget. It is because of our wonderful experience that we are back working with World Expeditions again this year. The service provided is top quality, and the communication in the pre- trip planning is outstanding. World Expeditions works with teachers and staff to meet all the requirements for school related travel providing an unforgettable experience for all involved
